Cabin or Hotel? Why a Cabin wins every time!

You might be wondering if you should book a cabin or hotel for your stay in Blue Ridge. Maybe your AirBnB experiences haven’t been great, or maybe you’re wondering if a hotel would be less expensive or whether your accommodation matter so much anyway. Though as cabin owners we might be biased, I think you’ll find after you’ve read this blog post that a cabin in Blue Ridge really DOES win every time, hands down. Read on my friends, to see why:

   It seems our world is getting smaller and smaller these days. High density housing, sharing cube spaces with your coworkers, even the highways are more crowded. Sometimes, you really just need your OWN SPACE to clear your head and press the reset button. With a cabin, you’ll get just that. No lines to check in at the front desk, or walking by that argumentative couple to get to your room, or fighting for a parking space in the parking lot. If you chose, you wouldn’t need to run into another single person on your getaway! That privacy is hard to come by these days, and can take your getaway to the next level of relaxation.

2. Comforting Touches

   We pride ourselves on high end touches like organic linens, cruelty free cleaning products, and chemical free cookware. In our cabins, we want you to feel like you’re the only ones that have visited there. We don’t stock our cabins with ‘hand me downs’ or items we wouldn’t use in our own homes. These touches can make all the difference. They’re not bland or generic, but unique and hand chosen. We don’t want you to look around and feel like you could be in a room in Anywhere, USA. Everything around you reinforces that Blue Ridge getaway feel - and that’s how it should be.

3. Live like a King or Queen

   The whole place is YOURS. From the private hot tub to the wraparound deck, you will live like a King or Queen in your forest palace. You won’t share the kitchen with that noisy family from down the hall. You won’t fight for hot tub time with the teenagers (unless they are your teenagers, of course). Set yourself up how you like, and then have run of the place (in a respectful way, of course!)

4. No Noisy Neighbors

   Both of our cabins are far enough away from civilization that you feel like you’re away from it all, but close enough to town that leaving doesn’t feel like a day trip. The best part? No noisy neighbors. Just you and nature.

5. Surrounded by Wilderness

   Hotels can be great for convenience, but they often feel like, well, hotels. A bit sterile, a bit like just a place to sleep. Our cabins are wrapped in wilderness so that you feel surrounded by nature- in a good way. It’s that true Blue Ridge Mountain feel. You can enjoy the view from inside, or outside on the deck. Either way, it’s not to be missed.
