Best Blue Ridge Craft Breweries: Angry Hops Brewing

Craft Beer in Blue Ridge, Georgia

Craft brewing is thriving in this part of the country, with over 69 breweries all across Georgia, serving up the freshest pints this side of the Mississippi. When you come for a stay with us in Blue Ridge or Mineral Bluff, check out the local gem Angry Hops Brewing.

Angry Hops Brewing was created by two local guys—Alan and Joe— who have a love for craft beer, and their amazing wives who support them. They met while working at another local brewery. Before they took the leap into Angry Hops, Alan was the head brewer at two other local breweries, while Joe was a river guide on the Ocoee and construction worker. Once they started working together everything just clicked. Their beers are loved by locals and visitors alike, and they often support the community through fundraisers and events.

What to expect beer-wise? While they love traditional styles of beer, they also push the envelope on the popular styles like IPAs, stouts, and sours. They keep things interesting with 17+ beers on tap, including Browns, Lagers, IPAs, DIPAs, Witbiers, and Sours- among others! A pint will set you back roughly $6.50.

Grab a bit to eat while you sample the goods at one of the rotating food trucks on site- check out their Facebook page to see which food truck will be there on your chosen date.

They’ve got a great outdoor seating area, and the Angry Hops is dog friendly, so Fido can come along as well.
