Grumpy Old Men Brewing

If you believe the legend, this brewpub was created by two retired beer enthusiasts who were learning how to brew in an outdoor shower. When they were arguing one day about what the throw into the mix, one of their wives told them they sounded like a bunch of grumpy old men, and the name stuck. With 24 taps, you'll spoiled for choice. You can try their flagship beers, like Choco Blanco White Chocolate Wheat Ale, Scentsation Double IPA, or Hell's Holler Porter, or try one of their seasonal rotations. Whether you're just learning to love craft beer or have been drinking for decades, we will be sure to have something on tap that you'll love.

Buck Bald Brewing

Since opening their first location in 2018, this has quickly become a go-to brewery for locals and visitors alike. With 14 beers on tap, you can bet you'll find a beer or two you'll love! Whether you enjoy IPA's, sours, English and German styles, or you're looking for something just a little out there, this place has got you covered. Visitors frequently rave about the Shesquatch Scottish Ale and Mango Tango Berliner Weisse, so check out those while you’re there!

Fannin Brewing Company

Fresh air. Fresh water. Fresh beer. That’s the motto of Fanning Brewing Co! Tom Fennell, a brewing expert from out of state, brought his skills to Fannin County in order to enjoy the fresh air and fresh water. Several of their beers have won awards- their first award was in October 2014 - a People's Choice Award for our Rory's Pumpkin Ale - at the Grayson Beer Festival. They use local ingredients for their beers, and have 10 delicious taps to choose from.

Cartecay River Brewing Company

Inspired by the wild beauty of the Appalachian Mountains and the Cartecay River, and the adventures right outside our backdoor, this brewery is pet friendly and kid friendly. They have a Happy Hour from 2pm-5pm every day: $5 pints! You can’t beat it. Owner & Brewmaster Brooks Wade first learned to brew in college from one of his Chemistry Professors. His goal was to give his town a place for friends & families to gather and hang out, and he’s done that in spades. With 19 beers on tap and an awesome atmosphere, Cartecay River Brewing is definitely one to visit.

Angry Hops Brewing

Angry Hops was created by two guys who have a love for craft beer, and their amazing wives who support them. While they love the traditional styles of beer, they also push the envelope on the popular styles like IPAs, stouts, and sours. The beer on tap is impressive, and the location is great, with plenty of outdoor space to lounge in.

Copperhill Brewery

Definitely casual, easy to relax. and very roomy. The best of craft beers are always readily available. Play darts, enjoy occasional live entertainment, or stop by to play trivia! This place has a passion to brew high quality, diverse, and exceptional tasting craft beer. With several different IPAs on tap and a handful of tasty sours, you’ll leave here feeling satisfied.
